Story Behind Us

After 7 years of marriage, Dan Burley went through a very difficult divorce. During his divorce, Dan struggled each day looking for help from people and legal advisors.   After spending 7 years in divorce proceedings, 15 court appearances and $40,000 in legal fees, Dan decided he did not want his friends, family and community to undergo the same struggles that he endured in his divorce. This is what sparked the birth of DivorceWealth.com community.

Dan founded DivorceWealth in 2008, and began to interview people who were either contemplating divorce, in the divorce process, or already divorced. He started building a divorce knowledgebase with information from people’s struggles, challenges and suggestions which would help other overcome divorce emotionally, financially and practically. Slowly, people started to follow Dan on social media and began seeking divorce help and advice from him. Soon, a community was launched to bring people in same divorce situations together so that they could help each other overcome the challenges of divorce.

In 2010, Ganesh joined Dan and introduced many beneficial features to the DivorceWealth.com. This was the “re-birth” of DivorceWealth.com.  In 2011, the latest version of DivorceWealth.com was launched which introduced an improved website and community base. The member base increased to 500+ in months. The “DivorceWealth.com” message quickly spread and now we have people joining us for free every day.

In 2011, John joins Dan and Ganesh. John comes on board as a CFO for DivorceWealth.com and brings in his Business expertise and strong knowledge of Finance and Administration. This start yet another era and DicorceWealth.com continuous to grow at a faster rate.

This is not the end to story of DivorceWealth.com, but the beginning where the Management Team envisions growing DivorceWealth.com to be the largest online community of North America soon!
